ESPN Handshakes

ESPN's Sports Center has hit on success with is its campaign dialing in the stars.  The Handshake commercial below is just one of many brilliant spots that shares the success of the formula.  They interject real players into the ESPN world in funny realistic ways.  They sit behind desks, they shake hands, they argue with execs, it's all great stuff.

Tufts University now permits all undergraduate applicants to submit a supplemnetal video 2 minutes long or less with their application.

Swedish TV - The Big Idea is YOU!

Here's a clever online ad created by a Swedish agency to encourage Swedes to pay their fair share for Public Television.  Alas, to truly understand the campaign it's going to take a little work on your part, but I promise you, it's worth the effort.  Give it a go.  Come on now - try it, you'll like it!

This is the clever and wonderfully innovative story of how a Canadian ad agency put it creative problem-solving skills on the line.  It's a great idea and a nice little film encapsulating the story in Creativity.  Agency in a Box

Adidas Beckham: out from under the rock

So have you seen this commercial?  Not sure where I was, but this commercial for Adidas is really nice.  It feels like a precursor to the Microsoft campaign I wrote about a few weeks ago.  Anyway, it's a fine mix of simple music, great artwork and a good story.  The fact that David Beckham tells the story is certainly a bonus.
