The Power of a Great Tune

Here's a simple little well shot tutorial for a cooking website called Pop Sugar.  What strikes me about the production is the power of the simple, sweet little track to drive a five step tutorial about food prep - called Basic Knife Cuts.  It's all about the music.  The song by Meiko called You are the One is great and it makes the piece for me.  I also love that there's no narration.... why bother, you don't need it.  What do you think?

At Deweymedia we focus on great music tracks; staying away from anything overly predictable.  A mediocre music track sets the tone for the whole piece...  you want to use a winner, something that stands out and makes you pay attention, complementing the production.

How do you spell Gaddafi?

Here's an amusing little video, a contrast to the horrors the current Libyan leader is committing against his people, that makes fun of how hard it is to spell the Libyan dictator's name.  Simple production, with lots of slides and some funny music.  Quite a contrast to the terror he is inflicting on his people.
