The white chickens are guarded by 'guard geese'.   The hyper vigilant geese spend most of their time watching the sky for hawks and other predators.  According to Salatin the scrappy long necked geese usually intercept an attacker before it makes it lands on the ground.  I barely saw the geese look down to nibble grass when we were filming at the 'bird net' on Salatin's farm.  Salatin tries to get heard by Benjamin (on camera) over the roar of the chicken pens.
