Dabis, who also wrote for The L Word, has hit the creative jackpot with her new 'outsider' feature that has been raking in prizes at Cannes and Sundance. Dabis has brilliantly executed the delicate dance between dead serious issues and intimate comedic moments that are rarely done well.
